To the moon

An Airbus A319 operated by Frontier Airlines, passes directly in front of the moon. It is always a win when I get these types of photos. I encourage everyone to try and be more observant in life. You never know all of the cool things you are missing out on by not stopping and looking around.

Perks to Exploring

On a fast trip to Memphis Tennessee, I stopped off at an area under an overpass. Under the underpass was a big parking lot and walking sidewalks along a river. I noticed a small opening and managed to get a neat view of the bridge. The name of the bridge is the I40 Hernando de Soto bridge that crosses the Mississippi River.

Local Wildlife

We occasionally get all sorts of wildlife in the yard. Turtles are very common. This one was kind of small, we get really big ones every now and then.

Got Time to Waste

I was visiting New York City for the first time in 2019. I was waiting to take a helicopter tour but got to the heliport in lower Manhattan a few hours early. I decided to walk the river and go look at the bridge up close. One of my favorite photos from the trip. The bridge is called the Brooklyn Bridge that crosses the East River and connects Lower Manhattan to Brooklyn New York. One of those wonders you have to see in person.

Simply Amazing

Isn't it amazing? We can take photos of the sun with cameras in our yards, with or without tripods. It still blows my mind. Both the camera and solar lens are very affordable as well.

Unexpected Photos

I love taking photos and capturing moments. Most of the time I do not have a certain photo in mind when I go wandering around. Dusk is an awesome time for photos, you never know what neat things you may get. Such as this photo when I happen to zoom in on the Destin bridge (Marler Bridge).

Photography is boring?

Certainly not.... A lot of people will tell you it is and persuade you not to go out and take pictures but what is fun to them may not be fun to you and what is fun to you may not be fun for them. I have learned that photography gives you a lot of new perspectives on life. You get to see and capture a lot of things that others may overlook or not really pay close attention to. Because of photography, I am motivated to travel and find the a lot of amazing things that this world has to offer, document them, and share them with others. Plenty of exciting opportunities can arise from photography and you get to meet a lot of cool people. Do not let other discourage you, find what makes you happy. If you do not take very good pictures, keep practicing. I get a few good ones every now and then but certainly not even close to being great. This is a picture of a lightning storm on Pensacola Beach. Very cool in person, but also cool if you can capture the moment. Sometimes you get a photo you can feel, hear, taste, etc. good memories.

I don't think that is real?

With a lot of great photoshop tools out in the world today it is hard to believe some of the photos seen online. I often look at some and think that there is no way that is real. As I started taking more and more pictures, I began to see that those photos that I initially thought couldn't be taken without photoshop work could be. I even started to get some of the shots that I had seen online and really wanted them. Such as this sunset photograph on Pensacola Beach. You can capture some nature beautiful photos without photoshop. Although photoshop has a lot of benefits and can improve your photo, it is much more satisfying to be able to have a beautiful, unedited photo. Keep practicing and you'll most likely refrain from using photoshop excessively.

Wow, look at that

Sometimes you do not see a photo until you walk past it. I didn't think about lining this Blue Heron up with the moon until I walked by and noticed how cool of a photo that would be. Again, you may not get the best picture, but keep trying and they'll get better and better. Also, when you start to notice things like this, they become more and more frequent. So, plenty of opportunities to practice, and play with/learn your camera settings.

It's your photo

It is cool to look at photos online, in magazines, papers, etc. Sometimes you will potentially share/use those photos, such as for a school project. But it is so much cooler when you have your own photos. The adventure to get a photo is also much more satisfying. I know for me, using my photos in my school projects was pretty neat. You never know as well; your photo just may end up in a paper, on a website, etc. always make sure to watermark your photography unless you do not mind someone potentially taking credit for your photo. It is awesome to see your photos in places like on another's website but can be devastating to see someone else's name in the credits under the photo. Credits can also do wonders for your photography; you could end up with a lot of exciting opportunities down the road. Osprey perched up on a pine tree branch, it is nice to look at it and think I took this photo.
